thanks for the correction on the install dir - i have updated my notes.

yep, they're a little messy for distribution; i'd intended to convert the notes into something publicly distributable if useful; but as you're working on spiffy new official docs, i think it probably makes more sense just to fold whatever you find useful into the offical ones.
