hi, I would like a scoop developer, but it's not clear where to post for one? also, the fact that the latest news (section) is from 2006 is disconcerting. is scoop "over"? thanks.

a month and a half w/o a comment should tell you how active the community is. if you're looking for currently maintained publishing software in the vein of scoop, look at drupal, joomla, wordpress, etc.

I've written an Akismet comment 70-673 spam filter which will be released soon to address this issue, although the general SK0-003 theory within Scoop is that comment ratings should address spam in a more reliable manner. My Akismet plugin implementation works completely transparently by evaluating comments at the 70-640 time they're posted (standard and intended akismet behavior) but also utilizes the default Scoop comment ratings to identify Spam

I too had been recently wondering where I could possibly post for becoming a scoop developers.I am also interested in learning about private cloud hosting and management. Since nothing much has been available outside as far as information goes, I am pretty much frustrated regarding this. However, I can answer one of your queries and that is the fact that scoop is not over. Recently only I saw a presentation being done regarding scoop and how much opportunity scoop developers would have in the nearby future.
