Proposal to propose implementing "dump it" voting for edit queue Feature Requests

It has come to light that scoop's edit queue is severely lacking in one key area: writing a proposal to ask Rusty to implement a "dump it" voting mechanism for the edit queue.

What I propose is that, through the magic of open source we collaborate on writing this proposal together. Some preliminary ideas:
  1. Must reference "monocles" and/or "monocle polish" somewhere. Rusty loves that.
  2. Avoid mentioning the broken search functions. Rusty will only consider coding this new feature if he can first forget there are other pressing features requiring more immediate attention.
  3. Hold out the promise of gratis Dunkin' Donuts upon receipt of code. Though this bears the slight risk of precipitating a nostalgia-fueled aneurysm episode, it's a better carrot for Rusty than any monocle or Vespa product. Fortunately, online purchases are available.
  4. Keep asking. Persistence always pays off, and there's no faster way to get this feature coded than repeatedly demanding Rusty do it.
I think that about covers it. I welcome your comments below, and as soon as we have enough interested parties, we can start drafting a committee charter/constitution and electing speakers.

Thank you.
